SOMETHING LIKE BLONDIESo, do you remember my look with that coat a few weeks ago ( click here to find out!), well since I love it so much I really wanted to make another outfit post where I am wearing it. Finally it ends up looking just like my old blondie one and I am quite disappointed by the result that has the same vibe as the previous one. I guess I have to learn how to match brown to other colours except black burgundy and beige. Shame on me. However, I really like this look, it is comfortable and perfect for an everyday wear. I matched the coat to a little black dress from Zara, my burgundy Louis Vuitton Alma bag, my favourite fabi ankle boots, to top it all : some Chanel earrings. Enjoy the pictures!
PASTEL SHADES2011 was all about neon flashy colours, for me this upcoming 2012 spring means pastel, mint, lavender and ligh pink will rock my closet that's for sure. Have you seen the last Louis Vuitton campaign? Well that is exactly what I am talking about, light tons, elegance and a little candy ambiance. James and were in a great mood when we shot this couple of pictures, he just received the Alexis magazine where he was featured and finished school really early. The weather was perfect, we decided to go for lunch in an italian restaurant by the lake and then make a few pictures of my outfit of the day. What do you think about this cotton candy inspired coat? I sear, my heart melted as soon as I saw in on www.romwe.com. I though it would look perfect with my little pink Chanel bag and a peachy coloured shirt. What do you think about it?
SHOES, BAGS AND MUCH MORE Last week I have done a little interview for a Swiss channel called "La tele". It was such a great experience, and the subject was... my closet! So basically you can discover here my little and humble collection of jewerly, shoes, dresses and so on. I hope you enjoy it. This interview is in french but you can find in this post a little text that explain what I say in the video. Enjoy!
P.S : To watch the video of my dressing, you have to put your mouse on the video then click on the link where you see a little picture of me, it is easier if you just want to see my part and not the whole program.
" For me fashion is a game, and what I like the most about it is that the rules change everyday. New materials, new colours or textures. I love elegance, and always had a very feminin style even sexy sometimes. I love beautiful pieces. Heels are my passion, on my blog you can see me wear high heels all the time, actually I do wear high heels in my daily life aswell, actually I feel uncomfortable with flat shoes. I love playing with contrasts, therefore flashy shoes with original patterns are my favourite ones. I especially enjoy platforms and glossy materials. It is very interesting playing with neutral shades combined to flashy ones, therefore I have neon green bags, orange ones that I love matching to basic outfits. My biggest passion right now is actually orange, I am crazy about this colour."
IT HAS BEEN ONE YEARI simply can’t believe that it has been one year since I first started Kayture. It all began when I met James and that he introduced me to the online world. I have always needed to share my passions, and it wasn’t always the easiest thing to do in Switzerland. But discovering all those amazing communities such as lookbook, twitter, blogger has really opened my eyes on a new world that goes even further than the virtual domain. Because of my blog, I have met so many friends, done so much interesting collaborations, travelled, received some gorgeous gifts and most of all shared a part of my life with you and got a huge response, which I am everyday so grateful for.
2011 has been a year full of discoveries; I took part in the Miss Switzerland contest, have cat walked in a bikini in front of a gigantic crowd, won the Miss photogenic title, have learned so much. Losing isn’t the most important: I had this chance to take part in this competition and I enjoyed it at 100 percent and always stayed who I really am, in front or behind the camera. I travelled in Madrid for a shooting with fashion salade, to Greece with James and our friends. We were invited by Armand Ventilo to meet him in his showroom in Paris, then to Tokyo for the Vogue’s fashion night out where we had the extraordinary opportunity to meet so many interesting people. My favourite magazines contacted me to write an article about Kayture: Teen Vogue, Elle girl, Comopolitain Russia and much more. James and I were invited to amazing events; the Grieder’s opening in Zurich, the Diesel event in Geneva, Louis Vuitton party in Lausanne. I have met incredibly talented people, Roberto Cavalli, Michael Kors, Anna Dello Russo, Bryan Boy, James Blunt that inspire me everyday with what I do.
I couldn’t say anything else that will have more sense than: THANK YOU. For your support, for your messages, your loyalty, your kindness and even your critics. Thank you for being here, for your support. You helped me realize that blogging is more than just showing off clothes, purses and bags. No, it is more than that. It is all about sharing with people your passion whatever it is: food or decoration. Following a blog means discovering new things, travelling the world with the blogger that you follow. Kayture is the window to my life, and I feel like each day, since one year you have been fully a part of it.
Enjoy those couple of pictures, and tonight don’t forget to check out my special post with the amazing pictures you have send me. You are the best!
Merci, merci, merci.
